Eline Rey, known for her mission to make sustainable choices, has been inspiring her followers since 2017 to consume consciously and ethically, especially when it comes to fashion. So, it’s no surprise that she also sought a sustainable solution for her new wardrobe - leading her to Maatkasten Online.

If I had to describe our home and interior, I would say "minimalist warm." That’s why, for the bedroom wardrobe, we chose a combination of white fronts with a wood-toned interior finish. The Atlas Oak wood texture adds warmth - because I wouldn’t want to live in a cold, sterile home. It also matches perfectly with our wood-colored flooring.
Maximizing every inch
The wardrobe’s shape fits our bedroom perfectly, but the layout was just as important. We wanted a good overview of our clothing without rummaging through each other’s sections. No stereotypes in our home - the wardrobe space is evenly divided between my partner and me. We both opted for modules with hanging space, three drawers at the bottom, and plenty of shelves from the middle up. We also made sure to fully utilize the corner module - making the most of every inch.

Seamless ordering process
Ordering was incredibly smooth. I loved that we could choose different interior and exterior finishes without significantly impacting the budget. I also appreciated the configurator’s flexibility, allowing us to personalize the wardrobe - whether by selecting an MDF finish for painting in our favorite color or opting for integrated handles.
No unnecessary packaging
The delivery was just as efficient. There was clear communication from the moment we placed the order until the agreed delivery date. When the wardrobe arrived, I was pleased to see that unnecessary packaging was avoided - the panels were delivered separately. We did have the option to place protective cardboard on the floor to prevent any damage.
A response via WhatsApp within three minutes
The installation process went smoothly as well. Did I mention how fantastic the manual was? Every panel had a sticker indicating its exact placement—once I saw that, all my stress disappeared. I never expected assembling such a large wardrobe to go this easily! My partner and I took a relaxed approach, installing a section each evening over the course of a workweek. First the base, then a few column cabinets, followed by more cabinets the next day, then all the shelves and drawers... The support from their team was unmatched. At one point, I had a practical question during the installation and received a response via WhatsApp within three minutes.
