Milled handles: exclusively for MDF doors
Less is more, even when choosing the right handles for your custom wardrobe. A milled handle is the perfect choice for true minimalists.
Only for MDF doors
Maatkasten Online offers countless color finishes for your custom cabinet, ranging from light to dark wood tones and trendy colors. However, if you want a custom color, such as the same RAL color as your walls or a special textured paint like chalk paint, you can choose an exterior finish in paintable MDF. The cabinet doors, infill panels, and/or top panel will then be supplied in MDF, coated with a white, high-quality paintable lacquer film.
For a cabinet in MDF, you can choose from the entire collection of handles, but only with this MDF finish do you have the option to select these milled handles. The milled handles can be easily painted to match your chosen finish.
Elegant and stylish
The biggest advantage of handle-less custom cabinets is their sleek appearance. A handle-less custom cabinet looks minimalist and modern. Moreover, if you choose the same color as the walls, the cabinets blend seamlessly into the space.
In addition, there are many other benefits. Since you’re not using style-dependent handles, your cabinets remain timeless. Your space also appears larger because the cabinets create a cohesive look. And if you have children, you won't have to worry about them hurting themselves on cabinet handles.
Elegant finish in two sizes
'Milled short' or 'Milled long'
The milled handle is an indentation in your cabinet door. You can choose from two sizes: the short milled handle, which is 30 cm long and positioned at a height of 1 meter, or the long milled handle that starts at the same height and extends down to the bottom of the cabinet door.
Always beautifully even in width
The milled handles are always 3 cm wide. In a double module with two doors, the indentation is 1.5 cm per door. This ensures that the handles remain consistently uniform in width across the entire cabinet. You can therefore combine both double and single modules while keeping the milled handles the same width.
Stylishly finishing with cabinet doors that reach the floor
While other handles add a playful, modern, or distinctive touch, milled handles provide a more elegant and minimalist look. You can enhance this appearance by extending your cabinet doors all the way to the floor. This option can be easily selected in our design tool, in step 4 under 'options.' The door will then conceal both the baseboard at the bottom and the edge strip at the top, making the room appear visually taller.
However, keep in mind that the bottom of the doors may be more prone to scuffs from shoes or the vacuum cleaner. This option is best suited if your floor is level. Our expert can check this for you during a measurement service.
