This was Bis 2024: Relive the fair here!

What an amazing edition of the BIS, construction & interior design fair! We met so many new people and even won the VISITOR AWARD for having the most visitors at our stand! Join us in reliving the atmosphere, warmth, and stunning custom-made cabinets through these photos and videos!

Before the event even started, our photographer came by to take some pictures of our booth. Despite the challenging lighting, we’re excited to give you a good look at our setup:

The showstopper: the custom laundry cabinet

The most popular cabinet this year was once again the laundry cabinet! This practical custom piece gives your laundry appliances a designated spot at an ergonomic height. Spacious drawers underneath and a pull-out shelf make laundry day a breeze! Finished in the stunning color Atlas Oak, with a sleek, handle-less design thanks to the push-to-open system.

Dressing island

Across from the laundry cabinet was a beautiful dressing island, also in Atlas Oak. On one side, you found open and closed modules with black 'Mini Pure' handles, while the other side featured drawers with a clean handle strip.

Combination of ceiling cabinet and dresser

Next to the laundry cabinet, this combination of a ceiling cabinet and dresser in Atlas Oak also stood out. The interior of the ceiling cabinet was finished in Lorenzo Walnut, and the dresser in Hudson Oak. Black hinges and shelf supports added an extra touch of style.

Corner dressing cabinet

A spacious dressing cabinet couldn’t be missed either! It featured both open and closed sections, just like when designing your dream dressing room. This one fully utilized the corner space with a sloped back panel—perfect for rooms with slanted ceilings, allowing you to make the most of the space.

The exterior of the cabinet was done in the warm color Weave Wool Beige, which has a woven wool texture with a tactile relief. The interior was in Industrial Green. The cabinets were finished with subtle brass-colored 'Mini Pure' handles.

We didn’t overlook the details on this one either. Stylish black accents could be found in the clothing bars, wardrobe lifts, hinges, and shelf supports. When designing your dressing cabinet using our online tool, you can add these details too. The wardrobe lift is a handy tool that brings high-hanging clothes down to you with ease. Especially useful for such tall cabinets like the 2.70m ones we had at the fair!

Floating TV cabinet

At the center of the booth: a floating TV cabinet in the vibrant color Dusty Coral, finished with matching Tonton handles for an elegant ton-sur-ton look. Love this style? The colors Sunset and Industrial Green also come with matching handles—the Tonton handle in cream and green.

The three spacious drawers feature a soft-close system and come fully assembled, making installation a breeze!

Wall unit in Silver Blue

No Maatkasten Online booth is complete without a touch of blue! This wall unit consisted of two ceiling-high cabinets with a low dresser in between, all finished in Silver Blue. The low dresser in the middle had a thicker 36mm top, though you can opt for an 18mm top as well. Thanks to the push-to-open system, the cabinet looks sleek and minimalist with no visible handles.

The utility cabinet

What you don’t see from the outside is that the far-right module hides a utility cabinet. This is a frame cabinet with doors attached, but no back panel, sides, top, or bottom. It’s ideal for concealing pipes, meters, heat pumps, or other technical installations.
