Discover Armine's minimal chic interior

Step into Armine's home, where minimalist chic meets organic shapes, natural materials, and refined accents. It's the perfect blend of Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese wabi-sabi. This unique style is also reflected in the custom-made cabinets throughout the house.

The tailored cabinets harmonize seamlessly with the home's ambiance, thanks to carefully chosen colors and materials. The design features the soft wood tone of Atlas Oak, which is prominently used in both the TV unit and the dressing area.
The living room with a TV unit: A subtle statement piece
The TV unit serves as the centerpiece of the room. With its light wood tone, it integrates effortlessly into the overall decor. Its custom-made design ensures a perfect fit within the cinewall. Since the unit protrudes slightly from the wall’s arch, a freestanding cabinet was chosen. This means the cabinet is also finished on its sides, giving it a polished, standalone look.
Key Features of the TV Unit:
- Dimensions: W 272.8 cm x H 43 cm x D 40 cm
- Shelf Thickness: 36 mm
- Color: Atlas Oak
- Option: Extended doors
- Handle Type: Gripless
- Price: View this TV unit in the 3D design tool

Luxurious dressing cabinets with ornamental details
The dressing area also features custom cabinets. These include a freestanding wardrobe and two storage units that form part of a makeup corner. The exterior of the cabinets is crafted from paintable MDF, giving Armine the opportunity to add a personal touch with moldings and a soft, neutral paint finish. Inside, the Atlas Oak wood tone reappears, providing a warm and natural aesthetic.

We wanted to ensure the cabinets reached all the way up to the ceiling, and I’m truly happy with the result!
Key Features of the Dressing Cabinets:
- Exterior: Paintable MDF
- Interior: Atlas Oak
- Option: Extended doors
The choice of floor-to-ceiling doors adds a luxurious touch to the space, creating an elongating effect that enhances the room’s elegance.
TIP: Interested in cabinets with floor-to-ceiling doors? You can easily select this option in STEP 4 of the design tool under "Options."
Note: Ensure your floors and ceilings are perfectly level, as the doors are designed to end just 1 cm above the floor and ceiling.

The making off
Armine used the Maatkasten Online design tool to create her cabinets exactly to her liking. For the dressing cabinets, she chose paintable MDF for the exterior finish. She personally added ornamental moldings to the doors, giving the cabinets a bespoke, luxurious appearance. Finally, she painted the doors in a neutral, warm tone that perfectly matches the floor and wall colors.
